Registration for the Bedside Clinical Guidelines system
From 9th June 2026, registration to use the guidelines will become compulsory. Registration brings the following benefits:
- Creates a Continuous Professional Development (CPD) report for appraisal and revalidation
- Protects the future of the guidelines
When registration is required and you visit the website, you will be redirected to the login or register page.
If you have not visited the site before, click the register a new account button.
If you have previously registered enter your email address and password to get access to the guidelines.
Registering a New Account
Enter your details as shown above. The email should be your NHS email address. The trust code will have been provided to you previously. Once done, press the register button and you will get a confirmation screen as below
You will now need to check your emails for an activation code.
You should be able to click on this link to take you to the activation page.
If you get an error regarding the link being blocked, copying the link manually and going to the page should work.
When you go to the link you'll be automatically logged into the guidelines. The login link will last for 24 hours, after which you'll need to log in again with the username and password you created at the start of the process.
